De Vere Landscapes was established by Simon de Vere Hunt in 2003.

Simon is a horticulture graduate of Writtle College, Essex. His experience includes four years working on the Powerscourt Estate in Co Wicklow, initially on the grounds maintenance of the championship golf course and then in the Garden Pavilion under the tutelage of Michael Caplice, head gardener in Powerscourt for over twenty years.

In 2002, Simon was a instrumental member of an award winning team that achieved a silver medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in the 'Chic Garden' category.

Simon went on to work in Killruddery House & Gardens where he spent valuable time gaining experience in large scale garden maintenance before establishing De Vere Landscapes.
